This is a Gibson forum and I suppose I can't blame the mods for moving the thread. Quite frankly, if someone had put Gibson on the headstock and just asked me to play it without looking it over closely I would have sworn it was an Historic, and a bloody good one at that.īut then as I said. The headstock shook like Quasimodo's lunch box. I was curious and asked the guy who I know well in the store if I could take a look at it. ![]() As I mentioned in a previous post, I happened to try one of those LS320's once. Yes these guitar are blatant copies, but boy O' boy are they good. One senior guy from Fender said he nearly burst into tears when he first saw and played one. ![]() You only have to take a look at shock Fender Japan gave the guys in Fender US when they first saw them. ![]() I know these guitars aren't Gibson and technically shouldn't be in this forum, but sometimes it takes copies like these to give the original companies something to think about and not sit on their laurels.
